For Toni, founder of the newly formed Papillon Afrique as well as Marilyx and Paul from Tricolor, this was a first convenors’ meeting. Karola kindly offered her home as a venue for the year-end function – an event which turned out to be one of the most successful ever.

Where: Bryanston Sports Club, Johannesburg. Payne Rd 
Cost:     R50 for all tickets including those of exhibitors.

Programme:

1. Variety of folk music, dances, etc.
2. Your funny language stories:  interferences, language jokes, etc.
3.  Language Teachers’ display of brochures
4. Socialisation & refreshments. Tea/coffee/ cold drinks, snacks.

 R10 p.p. towards tea/coffee

 In case of bad weather the stoep can be used.
